Antarctic Station (Princess Helen)

The Princess Helen Antarctic Research Station established in March 2009 in west Antartctica, is intended to be permanently occupied by the Paulovia Institute for Science, Research & Exploration (PISRE) and invited scientific personnel from around the world.

Its purpose is to monitor environmental conditions and survey and protect wildlife. Its secondary purpose is to promote global movement towards the declaration of a World Wildlife Reserve for Antarctica in its entirity.

In the meantime it monitors and ensures the spirit of the Antarctic Treaty is followed by the multiple macronational and micronational nations claiming territory on the continent. Paulovia does not claim any territory in Antartctica and campaigns to ensure the continent is kept free from commercial exploitation.
