Postcard Issues

This page details the postcards issued by the Principality of Paulovia through the offices of the Posta Servizio Principato. Subject to stock these issues are available in "Mint" format. To check stock status, prices and to purchase visit our  Philatelic Bureau Stamp Shop. The Bureau uses an easy ordering process and payment is only accepted through PayPal so your personal information is kept private and secure.

Visitors to the Paulovia Islands who simply wish to send a souvenir postcard of their visit to their home address, can now do so through our public counter at Postcards by Airmail

Name: #1 Postcard "Beach" with FDI  Order Ref: PC01-FDI

Issued: 14 February 2006  Production: Limited to 15 units 

Size: 140 x 107mm glossy finish

First Day Issue Franked: Limited to 15 cards bearing "Flag" 1st Series 30 penny stamp on reverse with First Day of Issue franking and a second "Flag" stamp on obverse (uncancelled).

Description: The first postcard issued by Paulovia corresponded with the issue of the principality's first definitive "Flag" postage stamp. This unique double FDI issue combination depicts an attractive beach scene from the virtual Paulovian island of Omorfee and bears the main legend "Greetings from Paulovia!" on the obverse with the lower smaller sized statements;  "The Principality of Paulovia - a global 'green' micronation where you can make a difference - New citizens welcome!" plus the Embassy web address. The card reverse is plain white. Supplied under seperate cover.

First Day Issue Franked:  NO - Mint

Description: This first postcard design issued by Paulovia depicting an attractive beach scene from the virtual Paulovian island of Omorfee and bears the main legend "Greetings from Paulovia!" on the obverse with the lower smaller sized statements;  "The Principality of Paulovia - a global 'green' micronation where you can make a difference - New citizens welcome!" and "Internet Embassy" web address. The card reverse is plain white. Supplied mint.

Name: #2 Postcard "Fishing Village" Mint  Order Ref:PC02-M

Issued: 08 February 2008    Production: Limited to 100 units 

Size: 140 x 107mm glossy finish

First Day Issue Franked: NO - Mint

Description: The second postcard design issued by Paulovia. Card depicts a stylised island fishing village with the legend "Principato da PAULOVIA" and "Global green micronation - Today, tomorrow...future" plus the embassy web address. The bottom right corner bears the message "Visit Today". The reverse of the card partially repeats the card scene in black and white with a vertical web address of "paulovia.org". Card identification small text along bottom reverse edge "Post Card Issue #2". Supplied MINT.

Name: #3 Postcard "B" Mint  Order Ref:PC03-M

Issued: 30 April 2009  Production: Limited to 100 units 

Size: 140 x 107mm glossy finish

First Day Issue Franked: NO - Mint

Description: The third postcard issued by Paulovia. Front of card shows the Wild Birds 2009 stamp set and royal crest. The reverse of the card has the text, "Paulovia Philatelic Bureau www.paulovia.org/philately" and "PC3 2009" identification mark. Supplied MINT.

Issued: 25 May 2010    Production: Limited to 100 units

First Day Issue Franked: NO - Mint

Description: The postcard design shows a stylised Paulovia National Flag.  The reverse of the card is divided for a message and address as for normal postcards plus small title text and Stamp Bureau web address. Supplied MINT.
