Stamp Issues
This page details the stamps issued by the Principality of Paulovia by the Posta Servizio Principato. Issues are available in "Mint" and "First Day Issue" formats and can be purchased from our own Philatelic Bureau Stamp Shop (seperate site opens in new window). Profits from stamp and postcard sales after production costs are donated to charity.
Name: "Flag" 1st Series Definitive Stamp (Mint) Order Ref: DS-140206-M Issued: 14 February 2006 Price: £0.30 GBP Status: AVAILABLE Production: 2.5 x 2.5cm in sheets of 30 with 14 perforations per inch. Gummed paper. First Day Issue Franked: Only available with FDI cancellation on #1 "Beach" Postcard (Limited Stock) Description: Mint example of the first stamp issued by Paulovia. A definitive issue with the Paulovian State Flag as the central feature, flying over the International Embassy in the United Kingdom. The State Arms or crest is in the top right corner with a 30 penny denomination (internal mail) at its base. The legend 'Paulovia Post' identifies the issuing authority as the Posta Servizio Principato. The stamp depicts a simple stylised Paulovia flag design with the legend "1998 - 2008". Supplied mint in glassine bag and despatched in protective hard backed envelope. The stamp celebrates the holiday season and depicts a simple traditional stylised christmas tree. The stamp has a reduced postage rate of 20 pennies for christmas cards plus 5 pennies for direct benefit for charities supported by the Paulovia Royal Family.
